Juliette’s lyrical tale takes us back to the 1984 miners’s strike, a time of tension and desire for escape. With the Ettecon band led by Kevin, the song unleashes a powerful rock vibe, amplifying the desperation and strong emotions that defined that era. It’s a musical journey through the echoes of history, where the young sought refuge from the friction of the times. The film tells the story of a rock band struggling for success whilst getting duped by a rogue producer amid the miners strike of 1984

Juliette, longing to be a singer songwriter. transformed from a mere dream into reality with “The Miner’s Son” film, originally a small passion project, certainly ignited her creativity. Influenced by rock n roll, punk and metal, she joined forces with Kevin and the Ettecon band – a group of longtime friends spanning over four decades with a shared love for rock music.
The collective vision for the song was to evoke the big 80’s rock sound
reminiscent of iconic bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, even early
Bon Jovi.
Kevin, who composed the song, drew from his early Punk Rock influences, infusing the song with a raw and pace that defines its
essence.
