Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats’ last UK visit was a joy to behold from one of the best live bands around. Following the release of their acclaimed 2021 album, The Future, the band delivered two captivating sold-out dates at London’s Roundhouse.

The summer dates will also come hot off the back of Nathaniel’s forthcoming US performances of the Leonard Cohen songbook backed by a full orchestra in Denver, Toronto and Montreal. The shows originated in Denver where Rateliff is a part of the Colorado Symphony’s first class of Imagination Artist series with Broadway’s Mary Mitchell Campbell and RZA from the Wu Tang Clan.

Growing up in Herman, Missouri, Nathaniel Rateliff started his music career playing in his family’s band at church and music became an obsession for him and his friends. At 19, Rateliff moved to Denver where he worked night shifts at a bottle factory and a trucking company while testing out songs at open-mic nights.

Since 2015, Nathaniel has led the high-octane, horn-flanked band The Night Sweats. The band’s self-titled debut album was a breakout success. Now certified Gold in the U.S., it has sold over a million records worldwide. Their second album Tearing at the Seams debuted in March 2018 to widespread critical acclaim and included three singles which hit #1 at Triple A Radio.

Rateliff released his first solo album in seven years in 2020 via Stax Records. And It’s Still Alright peaked at #3 on iTunes’ ‘Top Albums’ chart, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Americana/Folk” chart, landed at #2 on their “Current Rock” chart and resided at #1 on the Americana Albums Chart for eight consecutive weeks.

Rateliff released a new live album, Red Rocks 2020, which was recorded in an empty Red Rocks Amphitheatre during Rateliff’s mid-September run of socially distanced shows. The band’s latest album The Future, was released in 2021 on Stax Records to critical acclaim.

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats are Rateliff (vocals, guitar), Joseph Pope III (bass), Pat Meese (drums, percussion, keys), Luke Mossman (guitar), Mark Shusterman (organ, keys), Andreas Wild (saxophone), Daniel Hardaway (trumpet) and Jeff Dazey (saxophone).

The band will play the following 2024 dates. William The Conqueror will support across all headlines dates.
