Today, amidst their current US tour supporting Joyce Manor, Los Angeles-based Militarie Gun share a new music video for “Kick,” taken from their acclaimed second album God Save The Gun, released last October via Loma Vista Recordings.
Filmed during their most recent UK run, the video for “Kick” juxtaposes scenes of the band performing across British suburbia – parks, gyms, and the back seats of taxi cabs – with sweat-soaked, frenetic live footage from their biggest London headline show to date at Camden’s Electric Ballroom. Directed and edited by Manuel Casanova, the video also features additional editing and VFX from the band’s own William Acuña, with support from photographer Derek Rathbun and gaffer Shaun Waldie.
Following the recent announcement of their return to the UK and EU for a headline tour and festival appearances, alongside dates with Alexisonfire this June and July, the video further cements the band’s connection with UK audiences, offering a preview of the energy fans can expect from their upcoming live shows
The band have continued their upward momentum, already earning significant UK attention for “Kick”, including recent playlisting on BBC Radio 6 Music. They also made a strong impression with their high-energy performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk, where they tore through four tracks from God Save The Gun alongside two earlier cuts.

Currently between legs of their North American tour, Militarie Gun are set to play Coachella in their home state of California across both weekends, before returning to the road for a westward run with tourmates Joyce Manor.
Alongside the new music video, the band have also launched their collaboration with Full Kit Wankers. Following an initial limited drop that sold out instantly at their last London show, Militarie Gun and Full Kit Wankers now release a second run of customised football shirts, available HERE.
