Following the release of their tenth studio album Brain Drain Diaries on December 5, 2025, Swedish high-energy rock ‘n’ roll trio MÄRVEL returns with the new single “Insane (Jag Blir Galen)” — a track born during the same intense creative period as the album, now finally unleashed as a standalone release.
While Brain Drain Diaries captured the exhaustion, determination, and stubborn optimism of a band still pushing forward after more than two decades behind the masks, “Insane (Jag Blir Galen)” zooms in on the feeling of losing focus when emotions take over. Built on a driving groove, sharp guitars, and an urgent vocal performance, the song channels the restless energy that has always defined Märvel, while reflecting the same themes of inner pressure and mental overload that run throughout the album.
Although the track was not included on the original release, it was written and recorded during the Brain Drain Diaries sessions and remains very much part of the same story — a moment that didn’t make the first cut, but refused to disappear.
“Insane (Jag Blir Galen)” will also appear on the upcoming extended CD edition of Brain Drain Diaries, scheduled for release in spring 2026. The expanded version will feature additional material from the album sessions, giving fans a deeper look into the world surrounding one of the band’s most personal records to date.
With soaring hooks, relentless rhythm, and a chorus that spirals straight into chaos, “Insane (Jag Blir Galen)” shows that even when everything feels out of control, Märvel sounds exactly where they belong — loud, sharp, and very much alive.
“Insane (Jag Blir Galen)” will be released on Märvel’s own label Leather Lake and will be available on all digital platforms on March 27th, 2026.
