Swedish psychedelic rock band MaidaVale will tour Europe in April and May 2020 supporting desert rock legend Brant Bjork, famous for his work in highly influential bands like Kyuss and Fu Manchu, as well as for his solo career. The tour consists of 17 dates, including stops at Desertfest Berlin and Desertfest London.

Swedish four piece MaidaVale is one of the most prominent acts in the new generation of psych and experimental rock. The band is known for their musicality and the electric connection between both musicians and audience. MaidaVale released their debut Tales of the Wicked West in 2016, which was received with open arms and launched them as one of the most promising bands in the rock scene. Since then they’ve had a busy schedule touring Europe extensively.

On their second album Madness Is Too Pure, released in early 2018 and produced by Jari Haapalainen, MaidaVale followed up with an even more experimental and dynamic sound that confirmed their place in the psych rock scene. The band was nominated for the Swedish music prize P3 Guld in the rock/metal category the same year. MaidaVale are Sofia Ström (guitar), Matilda Roth (vocals), Johanna Hansson (drums) and Linn Johannesson (bass).
