Sheffield mob set to soar in 2016, there’s a new single now

By pulling from a range of sources, UK metal outfit ‘Immension’ have carefully crafted a sound that creatively merges the key components of modern and classic metal; the end result is absolutely exhilarating.

Formed in 2008 and hailing from Sheffield, Immension were comprised by founding members Jake Kearsley and Tim Dolan. When drummer Jonni Sowter entered the fold in 2011, the aspiring riff beasts soon set to work on enhancing their sound. It wasn’t long before the Steel City crew hit the road and toured throughout the whole of the UK. The metal crew have since gone on to self-release two EPs, as well as their explosive new album ‘In Vain’, which was released this Summer. The band have picked up support from everyone from Metal Hammer, Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Total Rock Radio, and Terrorizer, to Powerplay Magazine.

The Brit riff slingers excelled themselves in creating their current album ‘In Vain’. With nine cuts of contemporary metal that are loaded with passion, emotion and relatability, the record has served the band well. One of the key highlights of the album is the majestic ‘Love Never Dies’, which outlines the band’s highly impressive comprehension of dynamics and song structuring. Now released as single, the accompanying video is also something special, including a flaming piano! Just watch Immension soar in 2016….
