Loads Of New Bands Announced For Doom Over London

Published:

From Impaled Nazarene To Alunah, its all here

Bringing the hate and the hurt for over a quarter of a century, these Finnish legends return to the UK for an exclusive appearance. Having constantly shape shifted but lost none of their ferocity, we expect nothing short of a full scale assault.

Other bands announced are:

Darkher

Oozing deep mysticism and frozen melodies in sparse but haunting song structures, Darkher haunt and mesmerize. With a stellar EP having rave reviews, this is doom on a quieter, more menacing front. No need for massive chunky distortions, just atmospheric entrancement.

Stiflingly loud, Bossk will be airing tracks from their new album, their first for Deathwish Records following on from their support slots for AmenRa and Converge. We are super excited to be able to host the band, sounding as huge as ever!

Falloch

Scots post-metal inventors Falloch absolutely blew us away with their support slot with Lantlos, and latest album, ‘This Island, Our Funeral’ has woven its way into our conciousness. Heavy, experimental – nothing this band can do is wrong.

Alunah

Having a clutch of fantastic albums out, Birmingham based Alunah bring some more doom laden classic rock grooves to Doom Over London. Filled with face melting riffs, melody, a touch of the occult and a some psychedelic leanings, Alunah will inspire!

The Death Letter

Our first acoustic act comes to the fore this year with the folky, tinged, dirty doomy blues that is The Death Letter. With influences that draw from Howlin Wolf through to 16 Horsepower to Clutch, we are pretty stoked to have them on board!

Torpor

Londoners Torpor are a bit of an ace up the sleeve – sludgey, doomy hardcore oppressiveness that pretty much wants to turn your bones into powder. Having released their debut earlier this year, we reckon they’re going to bring the misery!
