Midlands heroes rope in the heavy mob for new EP
Let’s be honest about this. If you rope in the producer of Motorhead’s recent stuff, and get your new stuff mastered at the legendary Sterling Sound in NYC, you are not, to be blunt, pissing about are you?
That though, is exactly what midlands rockers Liberty Lies have done for their new EP, “Fracture,” which is out next year. Romesh Dodangoda – the man behind the knobs for Motorhead and Sylosis – produced and it was mastered by Chris Gehringer.
All of which points to a massive step up from the band, who have gathered a real following with their superb live performances.
The first single from the four tracker, “Circles” is released tomorrow.
The band then go into heavy touring mode, with shows with Magnum, before prestigious appearances at the Planet Rockstock event and Winter Rocks Festival.
Of course, we have a copy of the EP and a review will be here next week. Spoiler alert, it’s a bit good.
For now though, here’s a live version of “Circles” to keep you going.
