Liar Thief Bandit to release fourth album “ICON”
Launch first single “Death Pioneer” on February 23
Swedish garage rock trio Liar Thief Bandit is back! Since the release of their acclaimed 2022 mini-album “Diamonds,” the band has toured extensively and has shared stages with notable Swedish rock acts like Graveyard and The Hellacopters. In the summer of 2023, they performed on Sweden’s largest music festival, Sweden Rock Festival.
Liar Thief Bandit now announces the release of their upcoming fourth studio album, “ICON,” set to be released later this spring on The Sign Records. Truly living up to its name, the album is a staple and instant classic on the rock scene, blending everything you would ever wish for in a melodic rock record.
The first single from “ICON” is called “Death Pioneer” and is available on all streaming platforms from the 23:rd of February. The band comments: Death Pioneer is about the art of preserving a certain legacy.The song pays tribute to a significant and important instigator of contemporary rock music as it’s pointing out what would be necessary to righteously carry the torch onward.
