Ze Carlos is back as Brazilian Death metal band begin a new record

Ending his eight year departure from the band Ze Carlos will once again be taking over bass duties for the Brazilian Death Metal band KRUEGER. Ze Carlos, with his crazy style of playing & rotating the head in a constant headbanging manner, and his Rickenbacker Bass will be filling out the once again strong and brutal lineup along side vocalist and lead guitarist Adriano Krueger, Thomas Abrantes on 2nd lead guitar & William Arantes on drums.

With this new lineup the band will now turn their focus to the writing of a new album, tentatively titled “The End”. Some themes for songs from the upcoming album include Kali the goddess of death, Her cults and sacrifices in Her temples, rotting & cremation, the current human insanity in delusion by the ephemeral and impermanent, amongst others.

Since originally forming in 1987 KRUEGER have been displaying their brand of Brazilian Death Metal throughout their releases.  The most recent being their 2014 Full Length album “Return to Death”, which is said to be more brutal and rooted in the bowels of Death Metal then their previous releases. “Return to Death” was recorded at Sonora Studio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with Mauricio Costa da Cruz and Adriano Krueger managing the engineering, mixing and mastering. Artwork and logo for the album were made by Alcides Burn of Burn Productions.

Three official music videos were also produced for “Return to Death”  – and we’ve got one of em here!

Look out for more on the band this weekend
