Belfast trio KNEECAP have today shared a Shanti Celeste remix of “Cold At The Top“, a track taken from their recently released critically acclaimed new album, FENIAN, which was out in early May on Heavenly Recordings.
The Dan Carey produced album hit the number one spot in Ireland and number two in the U.K.
The Chilean-born, London-based DJ and producer Shanti Celeste gets hold of Kneecap’s chugging, pulsing original and takes it out on the town. An irrepressible 4/4 rhythm track, a floating riff that sounds like it’s being beamed in from the Great Beyond and an out-of-this-world cut and paste of the band’s original vocals, this is perfect late night house music for summer’s next heatwave.

Kneecap also recently shared a new version of “Smugglers & Scholars” featuring Killer Mike of Run The Jewels and the deeply moving “Irish Goodbye” which features Kae Tempest and is accompanied by a beautiful 12-minute film directed by Thomas James.
Without doubt one of the highlights of Primavera Sound earlier this month, they head out to play several EU festivals and headline shows and a massive headline gig at London’s Crystal Palace Park over the summer.

The last 12-months saw the Belfast trio perform one of the the most talked about Glastonbury sets in recent years on West Holts stage, play headline slots at Wide Awake, 2000 Trees & Green Man festivals, make the jump to arena level headliners with shows at the 3Arena in Dublin, Wembley Arena and OVO Hydro in Glasgow, find themselves in the middle of a media and political maelstrom for vocally advocating for peace and Palestinian freedom at last year’s Coachella and release three stunning stand-alone singles, “THE RECAP” ft. Mozey, “Sayōnara” a collaboration with Paul Hartnoll of Orbital and “No Comment”, featuring DJ / producer Sub Focus.
More darkness. More confrontation. More craic. More energy. More solidarity. More absolute bangers. And more fuel for the unrelenting engine that powers this unstoppable force. For their remarkable second album, Kneecap have come out fighting. With their second album FENIAN, Kneecap sharpen their sound and expand their vision, delivering a record that is darker, more confrontational, and more assured.
Throughout FENIAN, Kneecap balance confrontation with craft, pairing biting intelligence with undeniable energy. The result is an album that thrills as much as it provokes, marking a clear new peak in the group’s evolution.
Following two sold-out nights at Dublin’s 3Arena and a tour of Japan, 2026 will see Kneecap headline their biggest shows to date, including Crystal Palace Park in London and major festival slots. FENIAN confirms Kneecap not just as provocateurs, but as artists operating at the height of their powers.
