A concept album, Radillac tells the story of an interdimensional ‘Jesus’, flung into an amphetamine-powered wormhole and travelling through time and space. ‘Sleeveless Jesus/The Void’, track two from the record, describes our protagonist first entering this wormhole and left drifting in space, questioning his existence beyond the void.

Not, then, your everyday album. A full-throttle, high-psychedelia record, Radillac is the sound of a band having as much fun as is inhumanly possible. Elements as disparate as Every TimeI DieMastodon, and Slayer clash and combine to thrilling effect, with a bonus guest feature from UK comedy legend Ed Gamble on track four’s ‘Remy LeBeau’s Big Pile of Bones’.

Forming in 2021 after a few years of riff-gathering, Skin Failure‘s thrilling debut is testament to the limitless talent of the group: Will Gardner (vocals), Paul Stallan (guitar), Toby Stewart (guitar), Dave Larkin (bass), and Sam Simpson (drums). Skin Failure will make their live debut at ArcTanGent 2022.
