German hard rock veterans Jaded Heart are thrilled to announce their return with the new studio album “Toxic”, their debut release with Frontiers Music Srl, and scheduled for January 15, 2027.
To celebrate, the band share the first single and official video, “One By One”, available below.
The band commented: “With “One by One”, we present one of the most melodic and riff-driven tracks from our upcoming album. The song holds a special place for Peter, as it was written together with his oldest friend and Eclipse guitarist, Magnus Henriksson. During a songwriting session in Peter’s home studio, the two of them spent an intense and highly creative period writing three songs that would eventually become part of “Toxic”. “One by One” quickly turned into something special. From the very first ideas, the melodies and riffs seemed to fall into place naturally. The result was a melodic home run, combining heavy guitar riffs, strong melodies and classic hard rock.”
“The lyrics were written by our vocalist Johan Fahlberg, adding another important dimension to the song and completing the combination of powerful music and melody. For us, it is this combination of melody and heaviness that makes “One by One” a song that truly represents Jaded Heart and the sound of Toxic”, they added. “It is hard rock with power and attitude, while at the same time being driven by a strong melodic edge. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it.”

After more than four years, Jaded Heart are back with a brand-new full-length album, a powerful new chapter. “Toxic” delivers everything fans have come to expect from Jaded Heart, while keeping the songwriting fresh and focused: direct, powerful hard rock songs, massive choruses, memorable melodies and a rock-solid production that gives every track the impact it deserves.
The band stated: “With “Toxic”, we have brought together everything that we feel represents Jaded Heart: strong melodies, heavy guitar riffs, powerful vocals and the unmistakable energy of classic hard rock. From the first song to the last, the album is driven by memorable hooks and a strong balance between melody and heaviness. The album features the songs “One By One”, “We Come Alive” and “Hell Driver”, each showing a different side of “Toxic” while sharing the same strong melodic foundation that runs throughout the album.”
“The title track, “Toxic”, adds another powerful dimension to the album, combining hard-hitting guitars with the melodic approach that has always been an important part of our sound. We also wanted to look back at our own history with a brand-new acoustic version of “Remembering”, originally released on our 2016 album “Guilty By Design”. This new arrangement gives the song a completely different atmosphere and allows us to show a more intimate side of Jaded Heart”, they continued.
