Ville Friman (guitar, clean vocals) comments: “‘Arch of the Sky’ introduces a proggier side of the ‘Netherworlds’, featuring time signature changes and Insomnium’s trademark blend of mellow passages and heavier sections. Lyrically, the song is inspired by Sámi mythology, in which celestial hunters pursue a deer across the arch of the sky in perpetual motion. Following a run of selected summer festival appearances, INSOMNIUM will hit the road for extensive touring worldwide. The band will join Amorphis for a European tour in January and February 2027 and has also recently unveiled plans for a North American tour.
