Italian symphonic metal mob reveal their record
The Italian band Maya have just released their new album “The Prophecy Has Broken.”
The band was founded in 2011 by guitar player Alex Mognoni together with Holy Gates former members Mirco Petocchi and Alessandro Quadrelli, completed the line up with Daniele Chierichetti, ex Epica tribute band keyboard’s player.
Maya play heavy symphonic metal, with progressive rock and metal touches and great arrangements, like Symphony X, Savatage and Journey. “The Prophecy Is Broken”, enriched by Marco Sivo vocals (Planetheard, Time Machine, Derdian), was produced by Alessandro Delvecchio (Silent Force, Eden’s Course, Level 10, Edge Of Forever, Hardline) and will be available in the next few months under Underground Symphony Records in deluxe digipak edition.
