Brand new song out now ahead of tour
Destroy have released the video for their new attitude-fuelled single ‘State Of The Art’, which is taken from the debut EP Vanity Loves Me – out now.
Keeping in line with their lighthearted rebellious nature, ‘State Of The Art’ is the follow up single to the girls’ previously released title track ‘Vanity Loves Me’, which has been played on Planet Rock, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, and showcases the teen misfits in their true pop-punk style.
The new video perfectly complements IDestroy’s riot grrl attitude, while demonstrating their creative DIY approach. It was filmed in the Hydra Bookshop, Bristol, where the three-piece held their sold-out EP launch show earlier in the year; an anarchist bookshop in the city centre being the perfect setting for a sweaty, intimate punk show.
Pulling influences from the likes of Sleater-Kinney and Bratmobile, IDestroy are a fearless combination of powerful rock’n’roll riffs and bubblegum pop melodies, giving them an infectious and catchy sound, which has seen the trio build a loyal fanbase playing to packed out venues.
IDestroy have been relentlessly gigging across the UK accompanying the release of their debut EP Vanity Loves Me and have previously supported the likes of Cherie Currie (The Runaways).
