One of the most exciting new bands to emerge from Sweden, alternative metalcore five-piece Imminence, today reveal the video for their new single ‘Death By A Thousand Cuts’ via Believe.
The new single is a hard-hitting mix of heavy chorus alongside the melodic tones of vocalist Eddie Berg. Musically the band are adept at merging ferocious Scandinavian metal and the classical string arrangements that have become synonymous to their sound.
The band add ‘When ‘Death By A Thousand Cuts’ was written, we instantly knew that this had to be released as a single. At this point, we’ve found certain aspects that really defines what Imminence is, but this single proves again that we will never repeat the same concept twice. We can’t wait to release this new song and to premiere it live on our very first tour in North America.”
Imminence have built up a huge fanbase over the past few years; selling out UK and European tours, amassing millions of streams and even making waves stateside with a tour that kicks off next month and sold out within 48hrs (with venues upgrading not once but twice!). The tour includes a headline show at the prestigious Irving Plaza in New York on December 3rd.
They will be in the UK next year for a soon to be announced tour and an appearance at Download Festival in June.
