Hollie Rogers releases the fifth and final single ‘He Reminds Me of You’ from her upcoming album ‘Everything’s Fine’ due for release 5th June.
“He Reminds Me of You explores the pull of something that feels familiar yes dangerous” says Hollie, “It captures a blurred line between comfort and risk, and the enormous tension that comes from feelings you might wish you didn’t have.”
The release arrives ahead of what is already shaping up to be a landmark album campaign for Rogers, with Everything’s Fine earning widespread praise from press ahead of its official release. Early reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, with RNR Magazine awarding the album 5/5 and calling it “a masterful undertaking” and “compulsive listening”, while Blues Matters Magazine also awarded 5/5, describing it as “An album of real quality”. Two of Hollie’s recent singles were featured in Classic Rock Magazine’s Tracks of the Week, with the album’s title track going on to win the vote. Americana UK also praised the video, calling it “one of the best videos we’ve seen this year”.
Speaking about the album Hollie adds, “Everything’s Fine is a collection of songs about life in all its messy unpredictability, where things rarely resolve the way, you expect. Ultimately, it’s rooted in my own personal experiences, but I always suspected – and hoped – that it would be relatable to others too. As the release approaches, it’s been amazing to see early reactions and hear people connecting with the singles in such a real, personal way. After living with these songs for so long, that response from listeners is one of the greatest feelings a songwriter can have.”
Hollie is currently on the road with her Everything’s Fine Tour, performing across the UK and beyond in a mix of intimate duo shows and full band performances.
