DEPARTED have been selected to be 1 of 135 bands to be entered into the Sweden Rock Festival bands Competition with the chance to perform alongside the likes of Aerosmith.
Over 900 bands entered the competition and DEPARTED are 1 of only 4 bands from the UK selected. Voting is now open and runs until the 27th Jan. It’s incredibly simple to vote http://www.swedenrock.com/en/festival/artists/band-competition-2017
2016 has been a fantastic ride for the band seeing them traveling thousands of miles and opening for the likes of Status Quo (at Parc y Scarlets Stadium, Big Country, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Chuck Mosley (Faith No More) John Coghlan, Bad Touch, Massive, Mitch Malloy (Van Halen), Broken Witt Rebels, Aiden, Graham Bonnet Band as well as appearing at many festivals including Hard Rock Hell, Looe Music Festival and making their first appearance overseas!
