London’s Silk Road release a brand new single, TAKE YOU HOME, on Fri 07 September 2018, accompanied by a full promo video produced by Dark North Media.
Take You Home is taken from their forthcoming debut album, slated for release early next year. The single was recorded at the Shredder Live Lounge and produced by Jay Shredder, who has recently worked with Gin Annie.
Guitarist, Rory Drohan, said of Take You Home, “It was pretty much written in one night, the main riff idea wriggled its way up whilst I was at work and like most ideas that pop into my head I thought let’s see where this leads…most of those ideas end terribly but thankfully this one was well received by the group. The bass and guitar was finished within a few hours.
The meaning and purpose of the song is the transition between something being natural and easy to something being methodically sought out and needed.
We could have used a thousand analogies but with the tone of the song the topic of sex seemed fitting and with it being transcendent and natural part of the human experience it was the obvious choice.”
Silk Road signed to TMR Band Management in Oct 2017 and are now writing material for the debut album.
Silk Road are:
Bradley Taylor (vocals)
Rory Drohan (guitars)
Brad Culshaw (bass)
Charles Evans (drums)
