South coast/Sydney punks The Owen Guns debut LP “Dawn of the Braindead” is out Sept 23rd thanks to Outtaspace presents and Booker/Bastard
Hot off the heels of their recent EP’s “Violating Community Standards” and “EP2 : Electric Boogaloo” the band everyone loves to hate is back with 12 new tracks to harass your earholes.
Recorded and mixed over a long weekend by Shoeless Geoff Mullard at Rock The Nation studios and mastered by Jason Fuller at Goatsound, its an eclectic mix of punk and oldschool hardcore, sometimes serious but mostly with tongue firmly in cheek. It features amazing cover art by Ray Lonsdale.
From Bono to bad bosses, crazy conspiracy theorists to creeps in the moshpit the band lash out at who and what ever gets on their nerves and the current state of the world. It’s raw, it’s rude…its a rollercoaster ride of punk rock.
The video for “Not you too” animated by Mike Foxall is out on Sept 21st
Dawn of the braindead will be available on all streaming platforms on Sept 23rd .
