Last Hymn
Bad Son was recently released as a single & video, obtaining considerable airplay as well as Classic Rock Magazine Track Of The Week.
Gorilla Riot play raucous blues based rock, combining elements of grunge, stoner and country to create a full sonic high energy show that is equally at home as full electric or played acoustically. Indeed, Gorilla Riot will be headlining the acoustic stage at this year’s Breaking Bands Festival as well performing a full electric set at Ramblin Man Rising Stage.
The guys most recently headlined the SOLD OUT Outlaw Weekender and you’ll also be able to see them on the acoustic stage at Rock & Blues Custom Show in July and the main stage at HRH CROWS in September.
Mainman, Arjun Bhishma, said, “With this EP, we wanted to showcase our love for roots rock, blues and country. We dialled back the distortion and focused on interweaving guitar parts and vocal harmonies. On lead single, Bad Son its about accepting what you are. As with most blues rooted music, the lyrics look inward, and often it’s not a pretty sight.”
