UK rock quartet InTechnicolour have released a lyric video for their powerful song ‘Eastman’, taken from new album Midnight Heavyweight, out now via Small Pond Records. In addition to their upcoming tour with alternative act El Moono in March, the band have announced more live dates.

Bassist Tobie Anderson commented: “‘Eastman’ is one of the most personal tunes on the album. It just fell into place with both myself writing the lyrics and Dave [Jackson] when he wrote the guitar parts.

“It’s about anxiety and mental health, but more specifically the worry that if my mental health goes south, will those that love me still be there for me. It deals with fears of abandonment and fears of loneliness. But most of all it talks about the struggles of worry on top of worry and how that might affect the relationships that mean the most to me.

“Album closers for this and our debut ended up being videos taken by Dave on long drives in America, crossing the continent, while on tour with his other band, Delta Sleep.”
