Riding off the high of her debut album DOOMED, LA-based singer-songwriter Jesse Jo Stark announced her UK+EU tour of the same name today. Kicking off in Brighton, the tour will also see her perform at the iconic Reading & Leeds, and Lollapalooza festivals, as well as her biggest headline London show to date at the O2 Islington Academy.
Following a string of sold-out dates this past year Stark, is ready to bring her trademark sound to the masses, and leaving a scorched trail in her wake. The show will feature fan favorites, old tracks, and newer material from DOOMED. The album, primarily written by Stark, and co-produced with Jesse Rutherford (The Neighbourhood) and Michael Harris (HAIM), is a high-drama movie in the form of an album, the kind of immediate cult classic that inspires unending infatuation. The album is built on a frenetic collision of sonic elements (punk, psychobilly, bubblegum, art-pop), the result being a moody and mercurial sound that endlessly changes shape, and is desperate to be performed live and in concert.
Regarding the tour Stark said, “so excited to go on the road n play music to n with people again…been too long…let’s rock n roll baby.”
