The band had earlier this week sent a handful of lucky fan club members, who had turned another year older this week, huge birthday cakes complete with a link revealing the band’s new single.
‘Birthday’ is the second new song in as many weeks from the Baltimore quartet, following fan-track ‘Everything Is Fine’.
They’ve repeatedly topped the charts, sold over 2 million albums and 6 million singlesworldwide, raked in 200+ million views on YouTube, toured with the biggest names in music, and have taken over airwaves around the globe…
Having wrapped up their (UK Number 1 Album) Future Hearts UK touring cycle with headline shows at London’s SSE Arena Wembley and o2 Arena, alongside a second stage headline slot at Download Festival, the band took some well earned time off, before writing and recording their first album for new label Fueled By Ramen (Paramore, Twenty One Pilots, Panic! At The Disco) – the transatlantic Top 10 album, Last Young Renegade, celebrated with huge UK tours, taking in sell-out shows at London’s Eventim Apollo, o2 Academy Brixton and Alexandra Palace in the process.
