This Spring, the cult folk legend and festival veteran will be running around the country doing what he does best: Singing songs, making friends, telling stories and putting the world to rights.
Plotting a slew of new shows throughout May, Beans’ latest journey will take him across every corner of England from Grimsby (5 May) to Dartmoor (28 May).
Capping off the run with a clutch of shows close to his heart, Beans will be playing consecutive dates in his hometown (Whitstable), his home city (London) and his childhood home (Braintree); all over the June Bank Holiday weekend.

Beans on Toast writes simple songs about complicated subjects and never fails to celebrate the beauty of human existence. Drawing from his huge and much loved back catalogue, his live shows are both inspiring and entertaining, a relaxed and fun affair that leaves you feeling like you’ve met up with an old friend, and you’re all the better for it.
Beans’ latest tour arrives hot on the heels of his recent full-band shows in support of his acclaimed 2021 album ‘Survival of the Friendliest‘ earlier this year. Produced by Blaine Harrison of Mystery Jets and recorded at Big Jelly Studios in Ramsgate, ‘Survival of the Friendliest’ is a record all about hope, positivity and camaraderie, that finds an artist celebrating the very best of human nature. It featured recent singles: “Humans“, “Not Everybody Thinks We’re Doomed” and “A Beautiful Place“.
Proving a big hit with fans at Beans’ recent December shows and with the critics, Louder Than Warpraised Beans’ latest effort as “the perfect antidote to re-energise us all”, whereas RNR Magazine championed the record as “rather special…The lyrics shimmer with Beans’ trademark of truth and humour”.
‘Survival of the Friendliest‘ is out now via his own BOT Music imprint.
