London based acid-folk sister duo Fire In Her Eyes release debut album Look Into The Sky tomorrow Friday June 26th. Daniella and Natasha Livingstone have weaved magic throughout their debut double album produced by Youth (of Killing Joke, Paul McCartney and The Verve fame), it “shimmers with warmth and melancholy.” Their sound nods to Laurel Canyon, Donovan, Fleetwood Mac and late-60s psychedelia influences, even at times veering into uptempo prog-jazz – yet there’s something distinctly London in the delivery. “Look Into The Sky” is a dreamy psych-folk-pop journey blending ethereal melodies in a genre-blurring sound that feels nostalgic but fresh and often bloody catchy.
Daniella states: “We’re beyond excited for Look Into The Sky to finally be out in the world. This album means a lot to us- it’s been a wild, and inspiring journey, and we’ve poured our hearts into it.”
The sisters are also proud to announce that they will be joining Californian singer-songwriter Jay Buchanan (Rival Sons) on his acoustic tour around the UK this July, a great next chapter for the sisters. “We love Jay’s debut record Weapons Of Beauty, and we’re so looking forward to joining him on this adventure around the UK – it’s something we’re incredibly excited about – Thank you Jay!” state the sisters.
Amongst the many gems on the record, some highlights include ‘Juggling Clown’ which was written in the hospital room by Daniella after three months as an inpatient being treated for Leukemia. It was a pivotal moment, a core-memory for the sisters that reignited Daniella’s zest for music and life. A week later, she was discharged for two months, during which the sisters began regularly making music together again. After completing her treatment in June 2022, Daniella found that her creative wellspring returned as a torrent. Natasha and Daniella have since played a headline show at Studio 229 to raise money for haematology cancer care, in gratitude for the care that Daniella received at UCLH.

Natasha explains “Sooner or Later is a reminder that every moment is passing, and that’s what makes it precious. Nothing lasts forever- and that’s the bittersweet nature of life” something that both sisters understand in the wake of Daniella’s time in hospital.
