On 30th July 2021, Liberty Lies will be unleashing their brand new single Find Me. This is the bands first release since 2019’s It’s The Hope That Kills You.
Find Me is a straight up rock song with their signature anthemic chorus and Liberty Lies usual alternative flavour.
Being the bands first venture back into the music scene post-pandemic it has bought along some challenges and changes.
‘The global pandemic hit us hard’ recalls front man Shaun. ‘It’s the first time in nearly a decade where we’ve taken our foot off the gas, and trying to get the engine started again has been a challenge. But we are back! And Find Me is just the start’.
‘For the first time, we are having to write individually at home, that’s where this song began’ says Adam. ‘I brought the idea to the lads, and it morphed into what it is today’.
Lyrically, the song tackles that internal sadness brought on by loss or tragedy, but by putting one foot in front of the other you can turn it around to find something beautiful.
Find Me is the first track to be produced and recorded by the band themselves at their Black Country base Splinter Studios.
Liberty Lies are a four piece made up of front man Shaun Richards, Josh Pritchett on guitar, Adam Stevens on Drums and Miles Bagshaw on Bass and Keys. They hail from Wednesbury in the Black Country.
