FIGHT DOWN THE LANE

Published:

“If we’re gonna fight, let’s fight for us,” Olivia Lane challenges in the chorus of her latest track “Fight For Us,” featuring David DeVaul, out today.

“With all of the divisiveness in the world today, and all of the quarrels and online hate, I wanted to encourage people — whether it’s in a relationship or politics — to come together for a better society and world,” Olivia shares. “We can find common ground. I hope this song reminds people of what’s important.”

The independent country star — who premiered her inspiring fan-focused music video for “Nothing Changes” on CMT on Aug. 26th, released The One (Deluxe) album on Aug. 28th, launched Season 2 of her podcast “Living Instead with Olivia Lane” with guest Alexander Ludwig (“Vikings” and “Hunger Games” star) on Sept. 7th, and sang the national anthem for the Baltimore Orioles vs Atlanta Braves MLB game last week — continues to earn impressive streaming and social media numbers.

This week, she reached 15.1M streams on Spotify, 9.3M YouTube views, and 9.6M streams on Pandora. She is approaching 300k followers on Facebook and just hit the 50k follower mark on Instagram, where her wildly entertaining reels have captured millions of views — far outpacing engagement rates for social media icons like Kim Kardashian and Selena Gomez, and brands including Louis Vuitton and Sephora. Her 35 Instagram reels have earned a total of 21.7M views to date, with four of her reels having garnered more than 1 million views each.

ABOUT OLIVIA LANE:

Since leaving her hometown of Houston at 16 years old, country self-starter Olivia Lane has charted her own course toward success. She’s not just an acclaimed singer/songwriter; she’s a pioneering businesswoman, too, operating her own publishing company (Liv Write Play Music) and record label while releasing hit songs like “You Got Me,” “Hey 3AM,” and “You Part 2.” Mixing the melody-driven hooks of pop music with the innovative sounds of modern country music, she creates music that’s personal one moment and universal the next, highlighting the challenges and successes that bring us all together.

After appearing on the hit NBC show Songland (Sept. 2019) — where her magnetic performance of “Perfect Skin” catapulted her career forward, paving the way for international tours and critical kudos from the likes of Billboard and Rolling Stone — Lane encourages people to come together and find common ground on her latest single, “Fight For Us.”
