Featured Band: Sertraline

Stoke newbies reveal their new song

What do you get if you combine fierce riffs, a rhythm section you could set your watch by and one of the best rock voices to come of the North of the UK in recent years? You get Sertraline.

The Stoke-on-Trent hard rock outfit are delighted to announce they will be releasing a brand new single title Change of Heart on the 8th of August. Powered throughout by the awesome vocals of singer Lizzie Parry, Change of Heart is the perfect example of why Sertraline have been hailed as one of the brightest young acts of the last eighteen months.

Want to know more about Change of Heart? Hear it straight from Sertraline’s Lizzie herself:
People are unpredictable. Change of Heart highlights that you never really know what a person is capable of. At first glance, there are two characters in the story. There’s actually three.”
For those who haven’t experienced the multitude of riffs and the power of Lizzie’s voice that are key to the Sertraline sound, their first single Set The World Alight can be enjoyed below:

>Make sure you experience Sertraline live and loud at the following shows:
August 27th – Leeds – Chebfest (with Chasing Dragons, One Last Run, Pulverise)
September 10th – Wakefield – Warehouse23

They may have only been a band for less than two years, but Sertraline have wasted no time in carving out a dedicated fanbase. Having quickly made an impression on the UK rock and metal world with their debut EP Bury The Ghost in early twenty fifteen, they’ve racked up plenty of stage time. With shows alongside the likes of Funeral For A Friend, Butcher Babies, Toseland, Kobra & The Lotus and Normandie, as well as two headline tours, Sertraline know how to entertain an audience. Change of Heart is the first step in the next chapter of the band, get on board with the story and see where it takes them!
