Beach of Diamonds is a brand new trio constellation based in Oslo, Norway. Their music is a crossbreed from country rock and pop, and this mule delivers catchy tunes and soaring melodies that makes you giddy and eager for more.

“Mean Roads” is the bands’ first single, released on Big Day Records on the 23rd of June), and it is an energetic introduction to the music of Beach Of Diamonds.

“In an era where music where popular sounds are replicated in studios to get carbon copy style hits, this organic blend of effusive guitar and intoxicating harmonica make for a surprisingly fresh wall of sound that is an exhilarating roller coaster ride from start to finish.” – MyFizzyPop

Retro on one hand, modern on the other, like an arrow Beach Of Diamonds punches a hole straight through the american soundscape, at the same time staying true to it’s form. Even though this is a brand new project the bandmembers have a broad experience from previous and ongoing bands like Use Me, Cars & Calories, Trendsettarklubben, Kalashnikov, Jacky Jean & Les Punx.

Growing up on the countryside of Norway the twins Eirik H. Paulsen & Sondre L. Paulsen moved to Oslo in their late teens. Singer and guitar player Michael Markussen decided a few years later to move to the capital as well.

After several years apart, destiny had it the three of them would meet and form a band. They call themselves Beach Of Diamonds, and they are making their first scratch on the surface of the vast rock scene.
