Josh Weathers is a name to watch as he brings his distinctive blend of country, soul, gospel and rock to the UK and Ireland this November supporting Drake Milligan on his tour across the country.
The Fort Worth, Texas singer-songwriter has spent years building a fiercely loyal following across the Texas music scene, earning a reputation for his powerhouse vocals and electrifying live performances. His growing profile has seen him take his music further afield, with headline shows, festival appearances and support dates across the US and Costa Rica, while his viral rendition of Dolly Parton’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ introduced his voice to an even wider audience.
In 2025, Weathers was named Entertainer of the Year at the Texas Country Music Awards, cementing his position as one of the standout artists emerging from Texas’ thriving country scene. This year has brought another major milestone, with Weathers making his Grand Ole Opry debut on August 15, just one day after the release of his new EP, Niles City Sessions.
Recorded live to tape at Niles City Sound in Fort Worth, Niles City Sessions captures the raw energy of Weathers and his band, offering a snapshot of the live chemistry and powerful sound that has built his following.
Speaking about the project, Weathers says: “With the Niles City Sessions I wanted to capture my band in the studio. I wanted to hear the humanity in the music. I didn’t want something perfect and polished but real and raw. We cut almost everything live and straight to tape. What you’re hearing are songs I love performed live.”
The release follows his 2024 studio album Neon Never Fades, his first full-length project since 2019.
Now, Weathers is set to make his UK/IE debut on a run of dates supporting Drake Milligan, bringing his live show to Birmingham, Bristol, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin and Belfast this November.

Away from music, Weathers and his wife have founded an international mission working to combat human trafficking and provide refuge for vulnerable children in India and El Salvador. He also helped spearhead fundraising efforts that raised more than $500,000 for relief and recovery following the Texas Hill Country floods in July 2025.
With his first UK shows on the horizon, a new release under his belt and a Grand Ole Opry debut now behind him, Josh Weathers is an artist well worth getting to know.
