The King Is Blind continue their stellar 2016
2016 has been a brilliant start for monolithic metallers THE KING IS BLIND, who have been confirmed for both BLOODSTOCK and DOWNLOAD festival this summer. Recently releasing their debut album OUR FATHER (KKKK – KERRANG!, 8/10 – METAL HAMMER, 7/10 – ROCK SOUND), the record has received widespread praise.
HE KING IS BLIND boast an impressive heritage, with members drawing from a wealth of experience in CRADLE OF FILTH, NEW MODEL ARMY, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, and ENTWINED. Fresh from a bludgeoning album launch show, the band hold an impressive set of notches on the touring post, including Damnation Festival, their recent UK run with Winterfylleth, alongside Temples, HammerFest and Bloodstock festivals, and support to Fen. The band are pencilling in further dates for 2016 which will be announced soon.
