Reinvigorated North Easterners release single

Newcastle born rockers FACE THE OCEAN‘s new sound is set to push them into the limelight. 2016 is set to be the next valuable chapter for the quartet, with their new single release‘Chase The Sun’ being the perfect starting block to showcase their new material.

The single features Everybody Looks Famous’ Alexis Pretorius and has been aired on Alex Baker’s Kerrang Radio Show and Aaron Philips’ Amazing Radio Show, with the video premiering on Scuzz TV. The video was released online earlier this week.

As far as inspiration goes FACE THE OCEAN are heavily inspired by bands who turn their work into more than just the music, such as Angels and Airwaves and Thirty Seconds To Mars. These bands have a real passion for other art forms and like to involve other medias into their brand, such as photography, story based videos and concept albums.

“Our new single is fast paced and more energetic,” explains guitarist Daniel Rickman“It feels more empowered, with guitars and drums driving the song forward while synths soar across the backdrop. Hopefully people will like what we are doing with the new sound.”

‘Chase The Sun’ is out now.
