After Devin Townsend Project released the first new song “Failure” off of their new albumTranscendence last week to much acclaim, the band is now happy to announce the launch of the first episode of the extensive new Devin Townsend Project documentary. More episodes will be launched in the coming weeks. You can watch the first episode here:
Shot by videographer and good friend of the band Mike ‘ZimZim’ Zimmer between March and April, 2016 during the Transcendence album recordings, this episode is the first part out of seven parts in total. In this episode Devin explains a bit about the album’s recording process and you’ll get a glimpse of how the band writes music together.
