DELLA NOVA return with new single Don’t Want It – the second release lifted from their forthcoming second album Satori.
Don’t Want It embodies the band’s signature fusion of bluesy hard rock with a progressive edge. Alex’s soulful, gritty vocals cut through a solitary guitar line, building anticipation in the intro before the track opens out into a treacherous, winding road of grooving riffs. A slow, deliberate start gradually gives way to a pace that won’t let you sit still.
Lyrically, the track expresses the unwavering resilience and determination required to succeed when the odds are stacked against you. Don’t Want It channels that frustration into something direct, loud, and unfiltered.
The release arrives alongside an official music video directed by Chris Brooker of Brooker Films, bringing the track’s restless energy and underlying tension to the screen.
Recent live appearances have seen DELLA NOVA support Nuns of the Tundra in Kingston, alongside a main support slot for Canadian rock outfit Bleeker at The Grace. The band’s next show takes place at Tensor Studios in Vauxhall this July, as momentum around Satori continues to build.
