Innovative British rockers CYPHER16 have today unveiled their long awaited and powerful new 11-track album It’s A Long Way Back (From This Road), after having unleashed five massive singles, and having announced their return to the live circuit: Jack Doolan says “Well, it’s been a LONG time coming! We actually finished this record off in December 2019 at Abbey Road in London with a view to get it out in 2020, and then the world got turned upside down. As a result of the pandemic and various other thing, we had some lengthy time away from music and some internal changes took place. We’re so grateful to everyone who continues to be around Cypher16, past and present and right now the vibe is the best it has been for a long time. We had A GREAT trip out in Finland as part of our return to the stage, so now it’s time to start the engines up again and get on with the job!”

Another High followed on from title track It’s A Long Way Back From This Road, Push Through The Water and Break, with a back catalogue of epic videos including Lonely Road filmed at the newly renovated Battersea Power Station and Open The Dark Door shot in the unique setting of London’s Natural History Museum, claiming the title for the first ever music video to be shot there, alongside the 100,000+ views that were amassed.

Speaking of their most recent single Another High
“It’s a pretty dark song just touching on some of the personal challenges some of us have faced, and continue to face, every day. We very nearly lost people in Cypher16 over the last couple of years, and it’s safe to say the situation is still pretty dangerous right now. We hope people who struggle can identify with some of the stuff mentioaned. Our door is also always open to anyone who wants to get in touch to talk. We all know who, and what, we are”, says Frontman Jack Doolan.

Cypher16 are a young, innovative and refreshingly original rock band who harness metal and a hint of industrial to create a truly massive sound. The band have toured in seventeen countries including multiple tours of China and India, playing shows and festivals with the likes of Amaranthe, Fear Factory, Children Of Bodom, Behemoth, Lamb Of God and Slayer, and have before this album released one album and three EPs and had hundreds of thousands of streams / views worldwide.
