Ahead of their forthcoming release tour for seventh studio album ‘Jumpstart Hope’, InMe vocalist Dave McPherson announces acoustic solo dates with US metal giants Lamb Of God’s guitarist.
With the forthcoming January 17th release of ‘Jumpstart Hope’ – the highly-anticipated seventh studio album from long-standing UK rock icons InMe – now painted on the horizon, band vocalist and founding member Dave McPherson has announced that he will join Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton on a run of UK-based tour dates early next year.
Having long harbored a passion for solo acoustic performances, the InMe frontman will lead into the band’s forthcoming ‘Jumpstart Hope’ release tour (which launches on January 18th at The Joiners in Southampton) by teaming up with the US guitarist and embarking on five UK performances across Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London, commencing in the early weeks of the new year.
PRE-ORDER INME’S ‘JUMPSTART HOPE’
Though the InMe founder’s forthcoming band-centric release explores the heavier and more intense territories of rock, metal and progressive genres (as demonstrated in the recent album singles ‘Blood Orange Lake’ and ‘I Swear’) McPherson’s solo material draws the melodic intricacies of ‘Jumpstart Hope’ and the band’s previous studio efforts, pushing the singer’s expert vocal performance to the absolute forefront. The result is a chilling display of musicianship that will appeal to both InMe fans and to those of the singer-songwriter’s solo exploits.
Commenting on the recent announcement, McPerson exclaims:
“I’ve been a massive fan of Lamb of God ever since ‘As The Palaces Burn’ came to my attention in the early noughties. To have the opportunity to share a stage with a riff legend is a dream come true for me & the perfect way to commence 2020, an exciting year to come. I’m super excited to play for Mark’s audience & hear the bluesy flavours of ‘Anesthetic’. Plus, I’m hoping he can show me how to play some of his heavy riffs during downtime, and generally just have fun with him & his buddies. I am honoured, over the moon and hope I do them all proud!”

Morton supports his own March 2019 solo album ‘Anesthestic’, which included cameo performances from Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), Chuck Billy (Testamnent), Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge), the late Chester Bennington and Mark’s own Lamb Of God bandmate Randy Blythe.
Following the short tour with Morton, Dave McPherson will rejoin with his bandmates in mid-January to commence InMe’s ‘Jumpstart Hope’ album release tour – tickets for which may be purchased via the band’s website. Album pre-orders for Jumpstart Hope can be made via this link.
