COUNT ON CROWS

Published:

British modern hard rock band THOSE DAMN CROWS have released an acoustic live video of their fan-favourite track ‘Blink Of An Eye’, which appears on their upcoming debut album ‘Murder And The Motive’, out October 5th via Earache Records.

The stunning performance was filmed live at YouTube Space London in July and is exclusively premiering on the Planet Rock website here.

“From the early demo stages of ‘Blink’ we knew this song had the potential to become one of the biggest songs on the record,” comments THOSE DAMN CROWS frontman Shane Greenhall. “It seemed to have all the ingredients – a story, a message, a great hook, and a HUGE chorus that the crowds at our live shows love to sing back at us.”

Speaking about the meaning behind the song, Shane adds, “‘Blink’ is about a time and place where we grew up as kids, and reflecting on how much has changed since our childhood… pubs, venues, shops, all boarded up; how we once were, how life was and just how precious life and loved ones are. It’s only through loss do you truly appreciate life… ‘You gotta hit the lows to feel the highs.'”

For more insights into the track, check out Episode 2 of ‘Making the Murder’, the band’s behind-the-scenes documentary series, where Shane discusses its origins with guitarist Ian “Shiner” Thomas and drummer Ronnie Huxford. Watch it here.

‘Murder And The Motive’ is available to pre-order now on limited edition signed CD and vinyl, standard CD and vinyl, plus a selection of merch bundles from the Earache Webstore. As a special treat for fans, each webstore pre-order also includes 10 free CrowCoins – a brand new cryptocurrency created specifically for the most dedicated THOSE DAMN CROWS fans, which will give them the chance to get their hands on exclusive merch items.

The album is also available to pre-order now on iTunes, including instant downloads of ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Ain’t Dead!’, ‘Someone Someday’, ‘Blink Of An Eye’, and ‘Don’t Give A Damn’.
