New artwork revealed

Night Verses have revealed their new visual art for ‘A Dialogue in Cataplexy’. The video is not for the faint of heart by any means, and offers an extremely intense range of beauty, chaos and intrigue. It was directed by Chris Abouabdo.

“I’m just really fed up with how so many of us (myself included) have turned a blind eye to what’s happening with the harmony of our entire existence,” notes vocalist Douglas Robinson in regards to the inspiration for the song that tackles apathy and forces one to pay attention – even when it’s uncomfortable.“I started to see things and people for what they really are and it opened up what I’ve been really trying to write about for quite some time. I am now more mentally awake and aware of the world around me than I have ever been in my life. I finally see a lot of the darkness that I’d neglected for most of my years on this planet. I’m just sick of the repetition of waking up and not caring about how our civilization is going to end up if we keep treating our plants, animals and each other like this.”

‘A Dialogue in Cataplexy’ comes from the band’s second full-length, ‘Into The Vanishing Light’, which was released on July 8 via Graphic Nature Records, an Equal Vision Records imprint. The album is available at nightverses.merchnow.com and digitally through iTunesGooglePlayAmazonMP3Spotify andYoutube.com/equalvision.

‘Into The Vanishing Light’ was recorded in Venice Beach, CA with legendary producer Ross Robinson (Glassjaw, At The Drive In, The Cure). The album puts a newfound emphasis on utilising their instruments in unique and innovative ways to create a dense, atmospheric sound and experience for listeners.

The band, comprised of Douglas Robinson (vocals), Nick DePirro (guitar), Reilly Herrera (bass), and Aric Improta (drums), is currently on a full US tour with letlive., Seahaven, and Silver Snakes.
