South Coast hard rockers release new EP
Southampton based rock band Circle Of Reason have released their new EP, Faith or Theory with Freefall Records.
Drawing upon a wide range of influences from the likes of Biffy Clyro and Mastodon, Circle Of Reason combine heavy riffs and soaring clean vocals to create their melodic yet powerful sound.
Faith or Theory features heartfelt, singalong choruses and dynamic intervals of beauty. The EP takes you on a journey of relatable emotions, such as feeling inadequate before realising it is important to just be yourself, and conveys an important message to never judge a book by its cover.
Faith or Theory includes seven tracks – Never Enough, Questions, My Emergency, Clarity, In Other Words, Tie Up The Sky and Colours. All of these tracks are available to listen via iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music and Circle Of Reason Bandcamp.
Simon Osman, vocalist of Circle of Reason, said: “Faith Or Theory is our most comprehensive effort to date and the music represents who we are and where we are musically right now. These tracks were written with an emphasis on live performance, so are faster paced and punchier than previous releases.”
He added: “These songs all mean something to us and we are resolute in continuing to hone our sound and build on what we’ve accomplished so far.”
Circle of Reason will celebrate this release with two tours – the “Faith” tour based in the South, and the “Theory” tour based in the North. Dates will be announced shortly.
