Today barefoot troubadour – Beans On Toast – releases a new song & video
‘Jamie & Lilly‘, plus an accompanying short story.
A modern-day love song set against a Brighton backdrop, we’re offered a glimpse into the lives of two wonderfully special people. A teacher and a nurse. The music video features the actual couple that the song was written about (also pictured above) and the short story, told by Beans himself, explains how it all came around.
The track is an open-hearted celebration of everyday life.
“Jamie & Lilly” is just the latest single to air from Beans on Toast’s recently announced new album ‘Cushty‘. Set for release on the 1st December 2017, via standard bearers and long time companions Xtra Mile Recordings, Beans has also teased the tracks ‘Taylor Swift’ and ‘Open Door Policy‘ from the record – available to buy and stream now. This autumn, complete with the full backing of a full live band, Beans on Toast will also be hitting the road once more for the 15-date ‘Double Trouble’ UK tour, where he will be sharing a stage with fellow Xtra Mile compadres SKINNY LISTER for a series of shows throughout November and December.
