Canada’s Machines Dream unleash new single – and talk to MAXIMUM VOLUME MUSIC
Canada’s new Prog rock heroes in waiting, Machines Dream, are getting ready to release album number two this autumn, and have just put a taste of what we can expect online.
MVM was privileged to be amongst the first people in the world to hear “Broken Door” the lead single from the new record – to be called “Immunity” – and it’s immense, lush sound makes it an instant classic.
Band leader Craig West is promising to bring the group to these shores as soon as possible: “We want to head straight for the UK,” he said when we caught up with him last week, before going on to explain his love for English Prog rock.
Beyond that West has aims as lofty in scale as MD’s sound saying: “Eventually Rush will retire and there will need to be a good Canadian prog band to carry the flag!”
