Seminal band gets re-release
UMC (via Stardog Records) are delighted to announce Mother Love Bone: On Earth As It Is, a reissue set of works from Seattle rock band and pre-cursor to Pearl Jam, Mother Love Bone (Andrew Wood, Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Bruce Fairweather and Greg Gilmore).
Mother Love Bone: On Earth As It Iswill be available in both a vinyl and CD/DVD set.
The vinyl and CD/DVD sets are packaged in slipcase artwork replicating a legendary Mother Love Bone mural that graced the exterior wall of famed Seattle nightclub, The Vogue. The wall mural was re-painted by Jeff Ament on the side of West Seattle’s Easy Street Records in May of 2016.

About Mother Love Bone
Mother Love Bone was established in 1988 by ex-Green River members Jeff Ament, Bruce Fairweather and Stone Gossard, ex-Malfunkshun frontmanAndrew Wood and ex-Ten Minute Warning and Skin Yard drummer Greg Gilmore. Front man Andrew Wood’s personality and compositions helped to catapult the group to the top of the burgeoning late 1980s/early 1990s Seattle music scene. Wood died tragically only days before the scheduled release of the band’s debut album, Apple. The album was finally released a few months later.
