BLEEKER KEEP ON RUNNING

Published:

Juno and Canadian Radio Music Award-nominated BLEEKER creates thoroughly modern anthems.  The newest single from their upcoming release, SELF-MADE, “Running Through The Flames” is an instantly infectious pop song with a relentless groove.  The band, featuring brothers Taylor and Cole Perkins, with Mike Van Dyk and Chris Dimas, explains that the song is about “going through hell together and making it out the other side,” and captures a longing for simpler times, when there were less distractions — a time, as Bleeker themselves describe, when “Things meant more. And people meant more to each other.”

The band’s previous single, “Straight For The Money,” called “addictive” by Rolling Stone, followed up the band’s first album on Better Noise Music, ERASE YOU.  Erase You garnered a Juno Award nomination for “Breakthrough Group Of The Year,” as well as a breakthrough single, “Highway,” that went to #1 on radio in Canada and Top 10 stateside.

The song “Running Through The Flames” was produced by HEAVY – Jason Bell and Jordan Miller – (Sleeping With Sirens, Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness) and mixed by Mark Needham (Imagine Dragons, The Killers) and will appear on their forthcoming album, SELF MADE, due out in 2020.

BLEEKER will set out on the road with Better Noise Music labelmates, AWOLNATION, kicking off the tour on Memorial Day weekend in Asbury Park, NJ as the opening concert for the 2020 Stony Pony Summer Stage series. The formidable alternative tour will also include stops in NYC at The Rooftop at Pier 17, Washington D.C.’s The Anthem, The Aragon Ballroom in Chicago and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.  All shows also feature special guest Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness and The Beaches.
