West Midlands rock band Blank Parody have released their brand new single ‘Marching Through The Smoke’.

The song, produced by Jim Pinder (Fightstar/Bullet For My Valentine) and mastered by Geoff Pesche (Pulp) at Abbey Road, is an exhilarating rock anthem from the Black Country four-piece.

Guitarist Liam Howard says; “‘Marching Through The Smoke’ is a phrase derived from my grandfather, who picked it up from his dad who was a paratrooper in the battle of Arnhem. It became a kind of motto for me growing up and I interpreted it as a way of getting through when everything is going wrong. Me and Joby incorporated it into the chorus as a battle cry, with the instrumental being sketched as a soundscape for conflict. The entire way we structured the song sought to make its overall message as impactful as possible. It’s also pretty groovy. You can dance to this one”.

Hitting the road and playing shows all over the country, Blank Parody are primed and ready to break down the doors of the UK rock scene this year. The quartet play this year’s Camden Rocks Festival on June 3rd, London’s Alleycat on June 18th and have a second wave of dates to be announced.
