Acclaimed American rock band Blackberry Smoke will release a new compilation album, Rattle, Ramble & Roll: The Best of Blackberry Smoke – Volume One, on November 14 via their label 3 Legged Records. Pre-order/pre-save HERE.

The record features songs from across the band’s extensive and beloved catalogue including fan-favourites such as “Waiting For The Thunder,” “Good One Comin’ On,” “Sleeping Dogs,” “The Whippoorwill” and “One Horse Town” as well as two new never-before-heard tracks: “We Got Company” and “Southern Child (Live).”

Reflecting on the project, lead singer Charlie Starr shares, “’Rattle, Ramble and Roll: The Best of Blackberry Smoke – Volume 1′ is a collection of material that has been the heartbeat of our journey. We put together a representation of songs that captures a small part of what Blackberry Smoke is. Next year marks our 25th anniversary as a band, and it just feels right to celebrate by looking back at where we’ve been. We want to honour our brother Brit and the music and memories we made with him along with the legacy he left. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for riding along with us all these years. We couldn’t have done a single mile without you. Here’s to the past, the present, and the road ahead.”

ABOUT BLACKBERRY SMOKESince forming in 2001, Blackberry Smoke has built a passionate and loyal community of fans and had a historic career, including being the first independent artist/band to have an album reach #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. They are also part of a select group who have topped both the Billboard Country Albums and Americana/Folk Albums charts alongside artists such as Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Willie Nelson, Beyonce and Kacey Musgraves.
Throughout their prolific career, Blackberry Smoke has released eight studio albums including their latest, 2024’s Be Right Here. Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell), the record was released to widespread acclaim and debuted in America at #1 on the Current Country Albums chart, Americana/Folk Albums chart and Current Rock Albums chart. Of the record, Premier Guitar praised, “Blackberry Smoke is what happens when real musicians tell authentic stories through great songs,” while Forbes declared, “a unique blend of hard rock, southern rock, country, blues, and masterful songwriting” and Relix proclaimed, “Be Right Here is what Blackberry Smoke has been heading toward all along.”
In addition to their work as musicians, the band is deeply committed to charitable work and formed the Brit Turner Family Fund, a non-profit supporting several national foundations committed to curing children’s cancer. Blackberry Smoke has raised over $2,000,000 to date for multiple children’s cancer research charities through a variety of efforts, including donating funds from their meet and greets, charity motorcycle rides, signed guitars and memorabilia donations and more. This summer, Blackberry Smoke made a donation to CURE Childhood Cancer and The Brit Turner Family fund in his honour for over $100k to honour the legacy of the band’s late drummer.
