BLACK ORCHID EMPIRE create huge, memorable rock music that combines heavy-hitting savagery with intense melodic beauty. A ferociously tight live band, BLACK ORCHID EMPIRE have toured Europe and the UK extensively, supporting Skunk Anansie, HED P.E, INME, Cellar Darling and Black Map as well as festival slots at Download, Standon Calling, Tech Fest, Mangata Festival, Teddy Rocks and Planet Rockstock. Following on from album releases with Long Branch Records and Season Of Mist, the band recently signed with Year Of The Rat Records landing support from BBC Radio 1, Spotify, Apple Music, Knotfest, Metal Hammer, PROG, and Kerrang and now release final single ‘Tristar’ on the 27th March ahead of their new album ‘LORE’ which drops on the 8th May 2026.
Paul Visser – “The Bermuda Triangle is one of those myths that we were all fascinated by as kids – a mysterious, faraway part of the world that people entered and never came back from. This song is about an obsession with what might be beyond, the feeling of tipping over into the void. Musically it’s an exploration of the more beautiful and melodic side of what we do, but definitely still has punch in its guts.”
