Scottish underground metallers unleash their debut
Deriving their name from a local slang term for a traitor, Dundee’s Dirty Judas recently unleashed their grass roots debut, Every Bullet Is Another Nail, and are now looking to maximise on its potential to spread the good word. With influences as widely diverse as Helmet, Mastodon, and Gojira, they have managed to create a unique sonic character, described by Valkyrian Music as walking “the tightrope between variety and identity like a jaguar on crank”.
By engaging the epic atmospherics of Paradise Lost and Faith No More at their heaviest, Dirty Judas reckon they have created a classic vibe which, while something new, takes the listener on a trip back through time.
