Bi Polar Baby

Idols Of Apathy Premiere track – and its very personal

UK Bruisers ‘Idols Of Apathy’ return with a new single ‘Bi Polar’ which is exclusively premiered by Metal Hammer. The track is taken from the band’s stunning sophomore EP ‘Life Lessons’, out on Friday 4th December.

Idols Of Apathy are a highly dedicated six piece that create a sound, with colossal riffs and pounding beats, that is both dominant and ear shattering. The band ink truly forceful cuts, delivering their tech metal beatings with
the real vigour and rampant passion that demands and commands attention.

The band drop their new EP ‘Life Lessons’, on 4th December, it’s a concept record and based around some of the difficult times that one of the band members went through during the past year. The EP is a triumphant record and packs a gargantuan blow to the senses. Recorded at Avenue Studios by Zac Pinchin (Hacktivist, Create To Inspire, Lock & Key, Martyr Defiled) the EP will firmly plant Idols Of Apathy on the national map. Lead video single ‘Bi Polar’ has just been premiered by Metal Hammer –

and it’s a blistering slab of technical metal. Vocalist Jack
Dervish comments “The track was written and fuelled on my bipolar disorder. It’s something that during the writing process of this track, before it was named, had me writing things that I haven’t said for a long time. I was hurting people I didn’t want to hurt and I was having the full effect of bad luck, bad timing with bad thoughts, all at once. The music itself contains our most angriest and positive parts of the EP and in all honesty when
writing it I didn’t notice but everything in this track is purely me at my best and worst.”
